VLA Series linear coil actuator
Direct-drive voice coil actuator for Z-axis pick-and-place, soft landing and force-controlled testing. Thrust repeatability within ±5 g, 1 µm magnetic encoder and ±5 µm positioning repeatability, with the thinnest model only 10 mm thick. Models from VLA-10-20 (4 N peak, 20 mm stroke, 130 g, vacuum through the rod) to VLA-30-25 (30 N peak at 48 V, 25 mm stroke, optional 0.5 µm optical encoder). Cycles above 30 Hz unloaded with a 100-million-cycle service life. Used in semiconductor die handling, key and switch testing, and 3C assembly.
