Open-ended direct-drive line for processes that do not need a loop, with a belt or electromagnetic return mechanism replacing the cost of linear motors on the return leg. 240 mm linear stators and a 300 mm electric-cylinder docking module; carriers at 4 m/s, 300 N peak thrust, ±10 µm or ±50 µm repeatability, 15 kg specific load or 30 kg with the PO2 mover at 600 N. Loads can be increased by adding power magnets. Horizontal or vertical orientation.
